This existing residential property in the well known Coney Island area was found to be in heavily aging condition due to the proximity of the building to the nearby ocean. STONE accessed the property and scoped replacement and repairs of all masonry found to be defective, replace any pointing, and repairing of the existing parapet at the perimeter of the building. Furthermore, STONE also replaced the stucco of all the bulkheads and recoated the entirety of the building in a white coating.
MASONRY REPAIRS
Prior to the recoating of the building, STONE allocated all necessary repairs at the existing masonry of the building to ensure water tightness and stability.
Once all facade repairs were completed, STONE then scoped the installation of a new white masonry coating to ensure longevity of the building's facade.
In addition to the facade, STONE also repaired the existing parapet to ensure stability and safety of the wall. STONE also replaced the existing coping stone with new atop the existing parapet.
STONE also took into account the surrounding building property railing. STONE replaced the existing railing with new to ensure security and privacy at all extents of the building
