With the implementation of Local Law 126, STONE now scrutinizes even further, the condition of existing garages and the requirements to maintain a safe and accessible structure. At 13 West 13 Street, STONE took the project on to ensure compliance to Local Law 126 and to our satisfaction of the quality of repairs. No areas were overlooked when performing repairs to the existing concrete beams, underside deck, and to extend the life of the garage for future use.
CRACK INJECTION REPAIRS
STONE noted all the existing cracks throughout the garage prior to introducing injection repairs to all cracks and applying a strip of protective coating post completion.
STONE scoped the repair of any underside concrete that appeared unsatisfactory. STONE ensured that all elements of concrete repaired or replaced match existing conditions in kind.
STONE also ensured that any/all columns found in disrepair had been rectified to ensure structural stability and safety for the building residents and their vehicles.
In conjunction with repair at the underside of the existing concrete deck, STONE also paid close attention to all existing beams that required rehabilitative attention.
